Dr Nystrom is a fellow in the American Academy of Family Physicians and is a diplomate in the American Board of Family Medicine.  He and his wife, Lynette, are the parent of four sons, Tomas, David, Steven and Mark.

Dr Nystrom recently received the honor of being selected as the 2007 Family Physician of the Year.  His patients spoke very highly of him: describing him as a very hard working doctor, who provides quality care and shows a great deal of compassion for his patients.  They feel that he listens to what the patients have to say and has only their best interests in mind when advising them on their medical care.

Dr Nystrom is currently serving as the Chief of Medical Staff for the Hawarden Community Hospital.

Dr Nystrom is currently taking new patient and is available for same day appointments.  Please call the clinic at 712-551-3400 and the staff would be more than happy to assist you.
