Mike May, DPT

Mike has worked for THS managing the physical therapy department at Hawarden Community Hospital since 1993.  He received his B.A. in Biology and Chemistry from Northwestern College in Orange City, IA.  Subsequently he earned his Masters of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Osteopathic Medicine and Health Sciences in Des Moines and his Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree in the spring of 2007.  Most of Mike’s continuing education has been in manual therapy and athletic care, so Mike enjoys working with the athletes at West Sioux, and providing hands on care for a multitude of orthopaedic conditions.  Mike’s wife is Ingrid, and they have two children.
